World Evangelism

We believe the purpose of the church here on earth is to glorify God through worshipping Him and obeying the Great Commission.

We are striving as a church to carry out this purpose, through personal evangelism on a daily basis, evangelistic meetings and events, street evangelism, supporting missionaries, praying for laborers, and making disciples.

Prayer Ministry

• This team serves by being available after the worship services to pray with people who request prayer.
• Abilities: Welcoming, friendly, available, encouraging, discernment, a love and confidence in the power of prayer.
• Availabilities: After the service that you attend.

 

Adopt-a-Missionary

• You can be involved with the missionaries here and abroad through financial support, visiting them on their field for short term assistance, or communicating with them. Be their advocate in the church to keep them in people's mind and prayers.
• Abilities: Listening skills, desire to be involved in missions
• Availabilities: Flexible depending on your schedule.

 

Acts 1:8 Vision

Our vision for 2008 is to impact our city, our country, our continent, and our world through the following goals for our church:

Our City - Jerusalem Team

• Take the gospel to every home.
• Serve our city through 6 servant evangelism events.
• Impact 100 children through our "Summer Celebration 4 Kids."
• Impact 15 young people from our city at youth camp.

Our Country - Judea Team

• Unite 50 young people from Ireland and the UK at youth camp.
• Build a sister church through Holiday Bible Club (Min. 10 Volunteers)
• Broadcast two country-wide radio programmes.

Our Continent - Samaria Team

• Assist in two European Mission Projects.
• Help with a poverty relief project in Europe.

Our World - Uttermost Team

• Help plant church in North Africa.
• Enable the training of one Peruvian preacher.

If you would like to be involved in one of the teams, please let us know.  We would like to ask you to commit to attending one test-drive meeting, to meeting at least monthly with your team after you agree on a team, and to doing your best to accomplishing the goals of your team.
