Missions Sunday

The heartbeat of God is world evangelism.  He died on the cross so that all could be saved.  Our job as believers is to share this good news with the world.  Join us for this powerful service filled with Bible teaching.

John 4:35“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.”

This is the most exciting meeting that we have all year, and we hope that you will make plans to get very involved.

The purpose of the day is to focus our attention on how we as a church are going to carry the gospel to our city, our country, and our world in the upcoming year.

Also, during the service, we will be seeing videos and presentations from various fields around the world.  We hope that you will make plans to come with your whole family.  It will be a very exciting time, and there will be many opportunities to fellowship, ask questions, and learn.

The service times will be on Sunday 8th October at 11 am.

There are several ways that you can be involved in the conference:

1. By praying about giving a certain amount above your tithes and offerings on a regular basis to help send out missionaries.  This is a confidential commitment between you and the Lord, but it is a tremendous opportunity to be involved in world evangelism. 2.By “adopting” a missionary to pray for, correspond with, and interact with over the next year.  We will give you instructions about what this involves at the conference. 3.By bringing food to contribute to the meal after the service.

Our special guest speaker will be Pastor
Martin Wickens from Brimpton Baptist Church.

And we will also have an update from Missionary in training Hannah Neilly before she leaves for Burkina Faso!

We will learn how we can be involved in impacting our local community and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ!

Thank you so much,

James Wilson, pastor 02871226164 – james@northwestbc.com
